I think the 'Brown' issue is easy. If he has a good camp and earns a spot they can try to move a vet or toss Holland overboard to make room.

Lupul is the bigger question for me. He thinks he can play but even he suggested that he has some health issues. But everything out of Lou's mouth suggests he won't be given a starting spot. The Leafs have cap room to make him the 13/14 fwd or to park his contract in the netherworld ala Robidas if they want to.

I don’t think moving Holland would be enough. It would have to be a higher priced player…which won’t be easy in league where teams no longer do salary cap favors for free.
