Justify my idiocy? Are you joking at this point?
Nonetheless, most of us here agree that Rieder would be a great asset to have in Edmonton. It's just a matter of what it would take to get him back in Oilers Silk's |

Except he had/has no tools either. He's Moroz with a SLIGHTLY better scoring touch - MaximumBone
He did have size and a "slightly" better scoring touch so he at least had "some" tools to work with. Other than that, he was a train wreck from the beginning to the end. |

Ummm, then clearly, you didn't look into the comments. I'm not making poop up honestly. Most of us would want him back and go read the previous posts if you can't wrap your head around that.
Also, how do you know that Rieder doesn't want to be back here NOW? He didn't want to be here 5-6 years ago due to the direction the team was moving, his playing time, and due to bad management decisions, but times have changed. |

Except Rieder was a MUCH safer bet at having a career as he was among the leaders in OHL EV strength scoring in both of his last two junior seasons while being among the top two-way players. I'm aware of the situation surrounding Rider and why Edmonton couldn't sign him, but I refuse to submit that anyone remotely intelligent couldve called it an even remotely equivalent trade in any capacity. Kessy was always trash; Rieder was (and now is) a legitimate potential scoring winger. - MaximumBone
He was/is a small forward who never played a full season with limited scoring and was a 4th round pick. Kessey just came off of a playoff run where he scored 11 goals in 15 games and it looked like he might be turning the corner development wise. Kessey was a big guy and big guys take longer to develop if they ever do.
I don't think it's fair to say that Arizona won this trade on day 1 when it was a 4th round pick for a 4th round pick. The team tried to fill a hole with a surplus and it didn't work. |

He is a clown who blabs non sense. He is a half step ahead of HallFan. - NEONDOUBLEDION
Nonsense eh?
I was the first one to note that LD would make his big jump into the NHL as we all saw last season 2 months before he actually did (I watched his games during the AHL playoffs in 2014-2015 and I placed a bet on it with one of my friends).
I, among the rest of our Larsson allegiance are the only ones who are providing an accurate description of Larsson. Why? Because either we have seen him play personally or we have actually done research on him. All Hail the Might of the great Larsson!
There are more examples, but I'm not going to any further with that.
All I ever talk about are the different possibilities that Edmonton has/have that allow them to improve. I talk about players and how they could grow, all the while I use facts, data and what I see happen during the games. I try to be as realistic as possible, but at times, I might stray of that path. That's where Iggy helps me keep in line (to a certain extent).
The problem with guys like you and Iggy is that you're afraid to make an opinion and get criticized for it. I've noticed this way too often. You never picks sides and if you do, your only defense is by using arbitrary perspectives that have no connection to the actual point you're making, especially IF other people disagree with your opinion. You have an emotional instinct that disrupts how you argue or talk with people, which in response makes your argument very weak and it makes you a very bad person to debate with since you rely heavily on pathos. |

Oh, this isn't even his worst. This is like his 10/100 on the female female dog'er scale.
Don't get me wrong though, I'm sure Iggy is a good person soley based on that fact that he is well-known and respected to a fair degree on this website, but it just seems that he can get quite angry at times, probably due to a short temper I suppose.
