Last year, no. But I do remember him almost single-handedly ruining the tank the year before by getting hot. I wonder how much of that had to do with fans cheering for losses. Either way, not much left in his career. Good chance of being a rental for someone at the deadline.

I don't remember being that happy for the outcome of a game since beating the Rangers in OT in '07. And I certainly have never been that happy about losing in ever. I was beyond elated. By far the loudest bumhole in Black and Blue.

Yeah, news coverage here is even mentioning it....creepy as hell

Loved Okie as an Isles but the reason we let him walk is he is still relatively one dimensional. He is ok on defense and although he is a beast - he is not a power forward at all. He does not go to the net - doesnt park himself in front or around the net. He plays a peripheral game and is very good along the boards. He is not flashy - falls a lot trying to drive to the net and will not go to the dirty areas. I am also not sure how vocal of a leader he is and we were looking for more out of a 8 mil player. This is not a knock on Kyle - again I loved him as an Isles but he was allowed to walk for a reason. We had all year plus last year to extend and an offer was never even made.

Man I hope Ennis has a huge bounce back year if that is indeed where he is goign to be.

The speed on that line will be TREMENDOUS but the lack of D could be bad. Could get trapped in their own zone a lot. Maybe a Foligno/Larsson/Girgensons could fill in that spot to even out those lines.

I see us as buyers at this year's deadline honestly.

Not in a MAJOR way that shakes our youth core but maybe a piece with an extra year left on the contract or something.
