Only 28 players scored 30 goals last year. You're expecting a guy that scored at a 17 goal pace is going to come in and be a top 30 goal scorer in his first full year. It's got nothing to do with the Leafs. |

$6m a year for a past his prime forward who is slowing down? Sure, that's good value - he definitely earned that with his 45 points last year.
8 goals in 39 games last year definitely translates to 30 in a full season this year. I guess that math was part of that Georgetown entrance exam that you failed.
