He could have, but he signed an entry level contract so he either plays with the Leafs or he plays in the OHL.

Yep, huge change from having no good prospects or just one or two, to having three elite prospects and multiple promising second tier guys. Which they should have at this point, and they do, that's what's so rad about it. Also getting Matthews the big centre is a huge change in the lineup as opposed to notting getting hamm.

And to you good sir. As a parent of very young children this has become my favourite holiday. My little lady has her very first day of school tomorrow and 3 years from now Jr. Ballz will have his first day.

Apparently he was sick during that series. Hopefully playing with Matthews will accelerate Nylander's development, Babcock said he's looking at playing those two together.

Used to be an empty nester but the youngest boy came home, built a basement apartment for himself and his expecting wife. Boy by the way.
And the other boy just moved back in to the guest room.

Same, my daughter starts Friday and my wife is having a rough time. I'll I see is free daycare. My son still has 2 years before school but I'm down to paying for 1 for daycare. Happy days!

Matthews, Marner I can see as your best prospects but I can't see Nylander making an impact unless he starts working away from the puck. He's got some time to go unless all he's going to do is wait for someone to feed him the puck all the time.

In that Hershey series last season, in Hershey in particular, he didn't seem to have any defensive awareness.

He was already making an impact with the Leafs last year so I expect him to be pretty good this year. He was also good for the Marlies all season and your judging him on one playoff series.. not too worried about Nylander, more excited about I'm then I am Marner actually.

i am pretty sure the ice time allotted in this tourney is going to be fairly even across the board for the U23s

solid talent from top to bottom in the lineup... there are no losers when it comes to linemates there

Tbh, I would rather him not play at all than play 8 minutes on a 4th line in a defensive role.

One blocked shot ankle height could (frank) up the season for him and the Leafs.

This tournament poop is just poop. I don't understand why its necessary and it's too risky for players.

I want to watch Leafs win not Team Upper Northern Continent Above South Antartica or whatever the (frank) it is.

Nice. Whenever I do a two topper it's almost always bacon and hot peppers. The additional chicken is just a winner
