thing is... anyone who thinks line combinations are going to be set in stone at this point in time is an idiot.
coaches are going to try different things to see who meshes best together.
who cares if he's an 18 year old 12th/13th forward? the fact he is the only non NHL roster player invited says something. - Dozzer
hahah, like the world championship. Sens idiots were talking "Look how Ceci has played his way to the top pairing ahead of Rielly. After that first game, Ceci is getting all the ice."
The first game was against Finland or soemthing like that. The second and third were like Belarus and France. As soon as they got back to facing good teams, Ceci was practically benched while Rielly was chewing up by far the most ice.
Or someone that makes 100% guarantees and then claims something had to have gone wrong at the last second when what he guaranteed didn't happenen. - RickJames77

That is a good point. What would be ideal is for the game to grow in those countries so there are more competitive teams, which I think the high profile of the NHL in the Olympics can help to do, but the owners don't seem to think it's worth it. It'll probably still be some great hockey anyway. - Zezel
Big money for owners and PA. They get nothing from Olympics.

Oh yeah, it's all money. They probably want to skip Korea because it's not worth it to them and do the one after that. It's too bad really, the mens hockey final ends up being the headline event at the Olympics, when it's best on best teams with the NHL players, that has been truly amazing.
