LOL Phillips hits him with the bat in the shins as he is walking around the box. - MBFlyerfan
He tapped the catcher's shin pads and says "Hi" every at first at bat of the game before this happened. Yadi and him had a spat during a game before this and Yadi lost it when he did it that game.

I wish the Flyers wore special commemorative golden Cooperalls this year too - Mononoke
The Flyers should have just gone all out and get jerseys actually plated in 24K gold. No logo, no patches, names, or numbers. Just a plain jersey plated in gold.

That would definitely bump up the average weight of the team.
"On Jan. 30, 1980, the Penguins wore black and gold for the first time. With the Steelers winning the Super Bowl and the Pirates capturing the World Series title in the same year, the struggling Penguins hoped to gain fan support by aligning their colors with the other teams in the “City of Champions."
Technically, it's now "Las Vegas Gold" which is gold with STDs and a gambling addiction (aka Lenny Dykstra).

I don't care what they call it. Its Pittsburgh. I can say a bird is a dog all I want, doesn't make it so.

They are losing the Vegas Gold this season and going back to the older style jersey "Black and Gold" which is really Black and Yellow to everyone else.

I agree that it looks more bright yellow than gold (same as Boston) but that's what's listed on their official site.
That said, the color the Flyers are implementing is different than the colors that Pittsburgh has.

Oh, come on!
Well, that's what it says.
If he was dying he wouldn't bother to carve "A-a-a-argh." He'd just say it.
Well that's what's carved in the rock.
Perhaps he was dictating.
Oh, shut up. Well, does it say anything else?
No. Just... "A-a-a-argh."
Do you suppose he meant the Camargue?
