There are a lot of good posters on here, and I enjoy Carol's work... The last blogger was not very good...

I am still around and monitoring the blog, I read pretty much everything posted, I also pride myself on listening to the people I'm here to assist, so..... I'll make some changes to the way I enforce the CoC. I will employ a no patience policy and ban soft trolling immediately.

Personally I don't like this method, but it seems what the majority here want.

And BTW puckshack, Petenut26, golfingsince, Gen.Leighhazy are all Canuck fans that are just venting at what happened today, 2 of those guys are alts of the guys that were banned today, you may not agree with their methods of the way they responded to walshy, but their good guys and hopefully you can understand their frustration with walshy and other trolls from today.

FFS it's time to stop bickering amongst ourselves.

Id like to suggest having a conversation with that fanbases mods to
1. have them watch for posts encouraging others to come over here and create havoc,
2. to post a warning not to follow such posters advice or be subject to ban (shows intent to troll)
3. surely ban the instigator of this behavior (the post inviting others to troll) as that clearly violates the CoC.
Treating the infection not the symptoms w band aids...Perhaps this will create change on their end before it even comes here.

1. have them watch for posts encouraging others to come over here and create havoc,

As I stated earlier tonight, there are things that happen behind the scene that you guys don't see. I was in contact with the leaf ref and he endorsed the 6week ban I gave tonight and he even banned the guys alt account when he started complaining that the ban was unfair.

I don't get bothered by most things, especially trolls calling me out or criticizing me or mocking me in other blogs...couldn't care.....BUT it did bother me that I was called a hollow shell of a mod, or criticized by our own. But I can't let that poop bother me either, can't please everyone, live and learn.

As I stated earlier tonight, there are things that happen behind the scene that you guys don't see. I was in contact with the leaf ref and he endorsed the 6week ban I gave tonight and he even banned the guys alt account when he started complaining that the ban was unfair.

Totally voluntary, I only took it on because of the constant hard core trolling (prock, sensnucksnocups, artic_ardvaark) that was happening, not this soft trolling poop that people should just ignore and not respond to....it's like a feeding frenzy one starts and all jump on.

I was simply making a suggestion....please dont take it as any criticism on my part. Just an idea I had that would prevent this from even occurring again. Prevent it right from their own room.

when that same guy goes to another team's blog on more than one occasion in the past, which you have nothing to say about, to cut me down when I comment there, then he gets what he deserves. i didn't start the 'feud', but whatever, you are the one choosing to take sides without facts.

in any case, he had no business saying that about makita (a point others agree on)... and is the POINT which I agreed with when someone else made the comment.

i'm not gonna rally around some guy trashing our mod, who I've had several interactions with and have come to an understanding.

i've taken some advice from fellow posters in the interest of the comment section to NOT respond to provocation. i'm not trashing you, or trying to start something, but you should get your facts straight instead making stuff up. i dont' like other mods coming in here to ban people whoever it is. but if anyone deserved it, it would have been that guy who trashed our own mod.
