I really meant pull a Vesey but wanted a goalie comparable and he's the only one i could think of

Since Franson is mentioned in this blog ill say this..

Even though they would probably struggle early in the season, if they are indeed serious about making the playoffs this year they really should give Guhle/Nelson a "fair" shot at making the team.

Fransons PP ability and Gorges shot blocking/low turn over rate are valuable on the bottom pair but Guhle+Nelson skating ability alone makes them far more valuable 5-on-5, which is where this team really struggled.

Ill say this though, team was 12th in PP and 9th in PK. So clearly not the reason they finished bottom 10 last year.

I personally don't but they did add okposo and in terms of goal scoring in special teams they managed to have the 12th best powerplay. I think Guhle and Nelson would bring more offence 5 on 5.

Whole team will gell and be beter than las season. just being the sam as they wer the second hal of the season will be a 10pt improvement .

With the way the D is set up. This season will be made or broken by Lehner.

Edit: not implying it will be his fault if we dont make it, but if we do make it it will be a result of him having a tremendous year.

I think if he plays like he did last year for a full season we'll be fine. He had good numbers. Maybe lower the GAA a bit, but his SV% was elite. I think the average is .917, somewhere in there, and he had a .924. The league leader had a .930. .924 was good for 4th overall.

Maybe it's a macro type deal. There is a round red thing in the upper right after all. That could be part of a woman's anatomy. It's all about perspective. Like, expand your mind, man.

I do think he could be a solid 3 if he could just get some kind of consistency together. But that's probably what Winnepeg fans were saying for years. I'd love to see him play 82 games and score 30-ish points next year.
