Franson sucks. He really, really sucks.

For some bizarre reason, Leafs fans thought the dude had top pairing potential. God only knows why. We got him as a spare part in a trade - Nashville never had him above 6th in TOI/G.

Yet year after year, Franson would hold out for mega $. And Leafs fans would be happy when he got another contract.

Best of luck with him again this year, but I think you are going to find out what most of us here did: he has the tools, but absolutely no tool box.

I forgot to mention that in my house we refer to the slowest person to the dinner table as "Norris".

Well according to the Vikings there's no nerve or vascular damage, so I'm not really sure who's saying that. In this type of case the only reason he'd lose the leg is if there was vascular damage and the blood flow to below his knee was cut off for a period of time. I suppose he could have pinched the artery that runs behind the knee, but the trainers were right there, it's not like it took them hours to get to him. Unless he had compartment syndrome which the Vikings didn't announce, but is a possibility, and would require emergency surgery if it was that bad.

So when are the big wigs going to get a hold of me for my Jersey choice?

Put Franson on the 1st pp, that's what he's good at...great shot / great pass...slower then (frank)...so don't throw the puck into his skates
