Chiarelli signed in May 2006- Lucic drafted summer of 2006, so no you're wrong. Also drafted that year by Chiarelli. Kessel and Marchand. Not a bad draft year for the worst GM in the league.

He added Chara, Boychuck (for Hendricks), Seidenberg (for Byron Bitz and a 2nd), Ference for scraps, and Horton as good moves and added Peverley and Kaberle in the only trades pre-Cup that Id call sketchy.

So pretty much their entire top-4 D.

Rask for Raycroft is one of the best trades in the history of the league. 2-1sts and a 2nd that became Seguin and Hamilton is another. What a terrible GM!!!

I dont like the Rene Bourque PTO but I like the Gabriel Bourque one but dont care if any of them actually earn a contract.

Throwing this out there, but if Oilers are looking for a 4C, I wouldnt be shocked to see Jon Mitchell from the Avs sent your way. Avs have been tryign to trade him this summer (almost traded him to the Capitals for a 3rd round pick but they picked up Eller instead). I could see a potential deal there

I think they want to open up the 4C spot for Compher so I dont think it would be a crazy high price tag for him. I bet straight up for Pakarinen or Letestu would get it done

Hes not a bad player, but I think his time is done with the team, especially under Bednar and wanting to play the younger guys. Hes a good 4C but its Compher time...with MacK, Dutch, Soderberg, Grigorenko, Colbourne, and now compher. the C depth is passing him by.

So you can have him to fix your 4C issue. team work

Chiarelli was still under obligations to the senators and was not allowed to participate in the Bruins draft. Do some more digging and you'll see I am right. Again.

He would be waiver wire bound since there is no way he makes the Preds opening night roster with their depth. Wonder if thats a guy you take a shot on if he comes available. Would be a 3rd pairing depth move, but hes a Righty who has a big shot and can skate.
