I'm not worried about not liking our coach, but an experiment like this has never happened in a big tournament before. Maybe we'll discover that younger players bond quicker and are just better than older vets. I'm rooting for Team NA because 3 of my favorite players are on it. |

Wouldn't surprise me. I think that the young guys have just as much skill as the vets, so it's nit out of the question that they do well.
Saw the NA jersey in store the other day. Doesn't look terrible. |

No, I don't think that's his game..... But don't you think that's the thinking of most people when they say "he's not physical". Remember when sundin was said to not be physical? Yeah he's not physical in a tucker or Roberts, but he always had the puck and no one could get it from him.

Exactly, they don't have to run around hitting people to be playing physically. Matthews could be a freak beast if he's 220 now, and can skate and control the puck. |

They have the player shirts for like $30. But yeah, the prices are absurd. $150 for a replica jersey then $100 to have the name/number put on. $250 for a replica.
But that store does promos with free customization every now and again, so you can get a Reebok premier with name and number stitched for $150.
Doubt they run any promos like that for the world cup though. |

From what I've seen he controls the puck like no other with his slick hands and outstanding skating and the reach.
Guy grew up skating in 3on3 games, I really think that helped develop his hands and agility and such.
