Not seen Leafman around here for a while. I think that he needed to take a break from the gong show that is HB and decided (wisely) to spend lots of time with his family. He moved out to Vancouver lat year and seems to be really enjoying it out in that neck of the woods

I think that he'll beat that, but he's gonna be a 10-20 goal scorer at most and maybe 40 points in his best season IMO

Chycrun wasn't unanimous ahead, as I pointed out with tsn list (sportsnet also said "most expect julevi to be first dman taken and had chychrun out of top ten")

If you wish to call what I said wrong so be it.... Not all said he was going to be fist dman picked and was going to be 5th overall, and what bob and sportsnet said would happen did in fact happen..... So call that wrong all you want, but fact is it did indeed happen like that in real life and those scouting agencies were in fact wrong.

You're implying that the scouting agencies were trying to predict the draft, rather than rank prospects. I do'nt think scouting agencies try to predict the draft. Those are usually called mock drafts.

What is your point here? That the teams who made the picks were wrong cause they didn't follow internet scouting lists?

We knew going into the draft that julevi was going before chychrun and that there was a high probability that chyrcun is outside the top ten.

If anyone was surprised by either of these they weren't paying attention.

Chychrun not getting picked ahead (well behind) and not in the top ten would suggest that he want consensus top dman, no? Yes, I think it's pretty telling that the way it played out indicates that the scouting agencies were wrong. Of course it'll time more time to see if the teams were correct in not taking chychrun earlier.... But to say he was consensus is clearly not true as I've pointed out multiple places that had chychrun way down, and that is exactly how it played out. So the consensus among nhl teams was that chychrun wasn't that high, which is what tsn and sportsnet said.
