I haven't really been in on the Leafs prospect conversation, but I think everyone knows they have some really good prospects. They should, they finished in the bottom ten for eight of the past nine years .

Had a pretty solid summer - Did a tonne of cottaging (and did some work on our own); Saw The Hip ; Been to quite a few Jay's games; Took an amazing vacation on the Hood Canal in July; Wife also went back after mat leave after being off 17 months... Brutal

Still adjusting to our first little guy, almost 18 months now. The "conversation" about the second is ongoing.

People can bring up whatever they want, it's our blog to discuss hockey related subjects in general. The Leafs are an interesting subject, they've stunk for the better part of 50 years and they're trying to rebuild by intentionally tanking. Have they picked well in good draft positions, will these kids translate their immense skills to the NHL level....it's an interesting story.

Would I consider Jake a prospect ? Not really , he has played a year, but at some point I may call him one seeing there is no real definition of what makes a player a prospect.

It's all subjective . Same as you saying Willie is a top 7 prospect.

I haven't played regularly in a few years. Game times, distance to the rink, work and leaving town often on Thursdays doesn't add up. It's even more difficult these days.
