Boeser has no where near the ceiling Marner does. Everyone and their dog would take the high ceilings over a maybe 2nd line guy. Marner could bust, sure but he could also be a huge player in the league and what he's done at the junior level has been pretty ridiculous. Boeser was ranked like 40th or something by the way. Joulevi 13th around there and demko the 6th goalie prospect. Feel free to be upset

Perhaps an imbecile would want his team to finish 17th and pick up a marginal player in the first round of the draft - 30th at least a top prospect can be gained. Both positions mean no playoff hockey, no financial or any other benefit to the players or team.

Did I really just read 8 (frank)ing pages of Leaf trolls/defenders/apologists/internet tough guys derailing the thread? You're welcome to that opinion. Just about every respected publication says 3 in the top 10 at least. but whatever, you're welcome to think they're wrong, and it's really second rate stuff like Boeser and Juolevi that are top 10 (or 20, really) prospects, despite what they say.

Vantel, this is a direct quote from Walshy....he likes that he feels more intelligent in here.

It's an absolutely fantastic thread to be in. I spend most of my time there. Mainly because they sound exactly like Leafs fans did under Burke/JFJ/Nonis, there's more Leafs talk there than anywhere else I've found on this site, they absolutely despise Toronto and the Leafs to the point where nothing makes sense anymore it's just Spatso-like statements, and it's so easy to get them tied up in knots.

Their opinions change like the wind, they're so Pro-Benning it's awesome to see and the kicker for me, I genuinely think the IQ level is alot lower there than here, so I get to win more arguments.
