I'm hearing from sources that forwards can be capable of playing multiple positions. More to come... - Feds91Stammer
Not if you ask anyone in the Isles thread. Drafted at center and played on the wing? Not your natural position, management ruined you and the sky is falling. |

I really love the term "natural position". If you are good at hockey you can play any position.

I could somewhat understand a little outrage if you're moving a wing to center, as the latter comes with a lot more defensive responsibility and having to take faceoffs. But moving from center to a wing is inherently easier, so I really don't see what the big deal is. |

Wing to center isn't even as big of a deal as people make it. poop even guys like Fedorov, Burns, and Byfuglien have shown it's not overly difficult to excel at forward or defense. |

Not for Kevin Hayes. Hayes is an idiot savant. He can play center well, goes to the wing and his mind turns into mush. |

Meh it took Ovechkin a full season to adjust from one wing to the other. Gaborik was forced to try and adjust for a full season and wasn't able to. |

Depends what wing you go on depending on whether you're left handed or right handed. And then it changes the angle that you attack the net at on every rush. It's like going to Europe and driving on the left side of the road when you're used to driving on the right side. |
