UG just wanted the Leafs to actually play their prospects. It wasn't about whether they were good enough. He wanted the real rebuild and not just letting them rot and then trading them.
- AdamFrench

He was ahead of his time.

And also a complete fool.

I liked him.

1. Matthews
2. Laine
3. Puljujarvi
4. W. Nylander
5. Provorov
6. Marner
7. Strome
7. Connor
9. Dubois
10. Sergachev

There, this makes me happy.

- Scabeh

You won't be happy to hear he has Sergachev at 38. I think he should be quite a bit higher, I see him as a guy who will have a big draft+1 season a be a top flight guy next year. I like his upside over any other dman drafted this past year

Well it's a gutsy call but if that's really what he thinks... why not...

Sometime that call will end up being right.

I never saw the guy play but from I read and saw (fabulous highlight videos that Adam French bases all his opinion on), he looks like a solid pick

I like that pick alot.

Maybe putting him #10 is a little high. Consider this my homer choice.

Rumour is that it's now either:

Ron Francis getting an extension, or
New ownership being announced, or
Raffi Torres is getting a PTO, or
Commodore is being hired for the broadcast crew.

So... basically anything.

Sergachyev and Provorov could both be fantastic.

Nylander is too high on those lists.

You know who else he really liked, and was pissed when the Leafs let him go.

Stralman.

Yeah, that guy would look pretty good on the Leafs blue line right about now.

UG was not always wrong.

Pronman isn't a shock jockey like Button. He also tends to really love his Yanks and Finns. I remember way back he had Mikael Granlund as like the 2nd best prospect in hockey.

Top 5, easily.

EDIT: Also for my list (and others) I forgot Rantanen. He should really be top 10, especially given his last season.

But a broken clock wasn't a condescending (frank)ing bumhole about it when it was right!
