Lol. Not much to see there at 3am. Hardest part about the drive is the lack of coffee options. The trash pandas are everywhere as well as some of the biggest bucks I've ever seen.

I am not sure why anyone would flame away on this deal. This could easily be a win-win deal for both teams (although I don't have confidence in Nichushkin). In fact....I like it a lot for Dallas.

Niemi is an issue and how else will Dallas get rid of him? I think Sprong is going to project higher than Nichkushkin in a year or two. the more I look at it, the more I like it for Dallas.

Pittsburgh takes a shot at winning the lottery if Nichshkin can come in and fit in with Malkin, and turn into the player that everyone thought he was going into last year.

I think Sprong is going to be a heck of a player, but I don't know that he projects higher than Nichushkin.

The other positive to this deal is that the Pens can protect Murray. Yes, they'd be on the hook for Niemi for two years, but there's always the buyout option or the remote possibility he gets picked up by Vegas.

Pens get more relief moving Dupuis' contract than having him on LTIR, so that removes the blow of Niemi and frees up money to retain Nichushkin.
