Reimer's stats were about the same as Andersen's stats. So not clear if there will be much of a positive change there but Enroth vs Bernier should be an upgrade. - Leafsandbolts
while this is statistically correct... the major point that gets missed by those who have had the joy of watching the Leafs ... was that Bernier consistently and regularly sh_t the bed... putting the team in a hole usually within the first few minutes of the game.
the change is getting rid of inconsistent unpredictable goaltending for stability behind young defence.
Bernier gone - good
adding Andersen - good.
hopefully ANdersen gets off to good start. |

The current goalies are an upgrade from what they had last year but time will tell.
Let revisit this convo in January.

Hard to pick a favourite, so I'm going to go a little off the beaten path here:
Silver Streak.
Good movie. Filmed in Toronto. Funny and suspenseful. |

BTW, what the hell is with the prevalence of ads announcing that Melissa McCarthy has died?
That hilarious lady is still alive af - WingmanWillie
This site doesn't have a minimum spend on it's ads, and isn't big enough to get premium advertisers interested unless you're getting retargetted by a company like frank&oak or Amazon.
Come fall this place is gonna light up with golf town and calaway ads. |

I have wasted a lot of my life watching the Leafs and still do. Andersen will be a solid upgrade over Bernier and I too hope he will get off to a great start.

Still don't know what the deal is about Jeff Glass. He has had some decent numbers playing in the K but nothing to write home about last year. That PTO came out of no where. There's still a few old NHLer's that I thought might be better to invite. I know the player has to accept the PTO so maybe that's why but. It just doesn't make sense to me.
Enroth may miss some time due to being named to sweden but sparks can handle that while bibeau and kaskisuo play for the Marlies. They do need to get kaskisuo some playing time in the A anyways, the guy had some decent numbers in college.
A little competition never hurts though I guess.

i think they want 4 goalies in camp; while enroth and andersen unavailable, they needed one more.
that's all i see here. |
