I'm on the Don't Trust Andersen Yet side of the line in the sand. But it won't take much for me to jump to the other. I would just like to see what he can do before I assume he will be better than any goalie we've had in a decade or so. |

Is this the actual quote?
It leads me to believe that he was thinking of a Leaf or ex-Leaf.
Manderville?
Manson?
Glenn Anderson?
Somebody from the Ducks? - Atomic Wedgie
He claims he just got nervous, forgot the question and just (frank)ed up.

Yup. Nothing spectacular in his history. Like most goalies he'll be as good as the team in front of him. Just need some consistency. |

I think were better off, in that the first shot of the year that is soft as baby poop doesn't go in and we don't see 57 goals from other time zones. - burn

For what it's worth, I think Bernier will be fine as a backup in Anaheim.
As a Habs fan though, I already miss him and his "gifts" - Scabeh

A brick or a two by four would have been better than Bernier. Andersen was the most sought after goalie in the off season bar none. Mission accomplished.

Still, I don't think you could exist with an IQ below 10.

Andersen gets a lot of practice at home with his girlfriend.
I like this tandem. For the first time in a while, I feel like the loses will not be solely on the goalie or coaching. Andersen in net = Babcock behind the bench.
If we can consistent back checking from forwards and "decent" D, would could be more than okay.

Yup. Nice guy, but doesn't do enough with the bat to justify an inclusion... |
