Trouba & Lindholm deals. Agents are holding out as logn as possible to have even more comparable on the table to get their client max dollars. Eventually someone will blink first and open up the market again

Some decent players still RFA's. Kucherov, Gaudreu, Risto, Trouba, Lindholm. Then you have Orlov, Nichushkin, Rackell, Rieder. Not a bad crop of kids

Once a few of these guys start to sign, then the flood gates would open up. I wouldnt worry about it too much.

But there was some rumours of Trouba trying to force the jets to trade him based on his demands, so that might be somethign holding up the market

I'd take Trouba in a heartbeat. If he's meh then I'm all for meh. Risto, Trouba, McCabe. He's not your number 2 but he's a great 2nd pairing guy imo. He'd be above Bogo and I'm high on Bogo still

On Robin Lehner: If he doesn't work, free agent goalies of next year are Ben Bishop, Bernier, Neuvirth, Pavelec, Elliot, and a few good backups.

Bishop is the only bonafide #1 and Neuvirth hates us but the good thing about Lehner is after this year if we aren't happy we aren't entirely screwed. Goalies have turned into running backs with how the defense plays now. As long as he's okay and your defense is good you can win.

if he lives up to his promise he could be decent. a d of risto, kulikov, mccabe, trouba, goges and bogo would be decent.. we are just missing that top talent, unless risto makes that leap

i don't want Bishop anymore.. yes he is good but he will get something like 7 mil a year and he has had some injury issues.. nobody on that list besides bishop excites me.

Goalie doesn't have to excite me. He just has to play okay for me to be happy. Now, I'd love to have a Lundqvist or a Price but, barring one of our prospects becoming that I say we get a slightly above average goalie and run with it. It can be Lehner if he's healthy.

But I agree, 7+ for a goalie is too much unless, again, I'm getting a goalie that is the best player on my team.

you can't base your team on a goalie.. look what happened to montreal last season. save the money get a 3to5 mil goalie and spend the extra on d or o

If Montreal comes out and looks amazing, though, it shows you can. It's like giving a starting QB big money. He could single handedly take you all the way, or he could get hurt and then you're SOL. It's a gamble but it's all a gamble.

He's about 6. Earlier he had diarrhea and since then he's lethargic and shaking on and off. Then every every now and then he'd start stumbling around backwards crying toward his rear end. And he keeps stretching doing the "downward facing dog". He seems to be doing better now but still isn't 100% back to his usual self.

I read online that the shaking could be a reaction from being in pain, so I'm thinking maybe he has a stomach ache or something. What that could be from, I'm not sure. The only thing out of the ordinary he's eaten is yesterday I bought him some new dog treats.
