I guess the closest comparissoon is Saku Koivu coming over from Europe at the same age of 21 and made the team for the 1995-1996 season. Both at similar size/weight at that age and both considered all around talents. Koivu at the time was considered the most talented not in the NHL and Lehkonen right now is pretty close to that title. Let's not forget Lehkonen tied Alfredsson's playoff scoring record in the SEL which is not a small feat. |
