Clearly, i mean CLEARLY no hockey fan in their right mind would think David Rundblad is an NHL caliber player, let alone "great". This is beyond obvious. Its not even debatable on any level whatsoever. So, with that in mind...

Why would someone repeat these things? WHILE AT THE SAME TIME putting down/bashing/hating on all other things(and i mean literally ALL other things) related to the Chicago Blackhawks? I'm not kidding you, when the ONE player on the Chicago Blackhawk(current or former) you ever have anything good to say about is David (frank)ing Rundblad that should be proof enough for everyone to know this guy is a 100% phony. A fraud. He's not expressing what he truly believes. Just a few days ago he had a blog ranking Hampus Lindholm ahead of Doughty and Keith ffs.

Top 4 for him is a bit crazy out of the gate, but a team needing depth on the Right side, whats the harm in either bringing him in on a PTO or signing him to a 2 way deal

I wouldnt mind my Avs giving him a shot to compete at camp. Whats the harm if the Oilers did the same thing.

Hes not a saviour but he might strike lightning in a bottle and be respectable for a season or in a platoon role on the 3rd pairing. At least for a short term solution

I was trying to keep an eye on him in the playoffs for that very reason, from what I saw he looked like an NHL d-man. In his first game he had < 7 mins in 4+ periods, in the next two games he had > 10 mins in regulation, so you can tell he earned a bit of trust from Q.

Edit: By NHL d-man, I'm not saying top 100, just maybe not as low as 211th best.

What this joker fails to tell his readers is Rundblad was TURNED DOWN BY EVERY SINGLE TEAM IN THE NHL. The Hawks have put him on waivers (twice now) and NO ONE has signed "the great David Rundblad". Anyone with a cursory knowledge of hockey will see Rundblad is NOT great, he's NOT even competent. He skates poorly, is horrific in his own zone, mediocre in gap control, and maybe most importantly one of the most cowardly chickenpoops I've ever seen, willing to allow a puck to float into the low slot as opposed to playing the body at all.

Honestly, I am not down on his prediction the Hawks don't make the playoffs. Hell, they may not. One or two injuries in the right spot and we may be talking lottery pick. The Hawks do lack depth at center, need a winger on the top 6, have no salary room to move...and while the defense and goal tending are exceptional (we go Keith, Seabrook, Hjmarlson, van Reimsdyk, Kempny, Campbell, Rosival as our 7, with prospects Forsling, Svedberg and Pokka getting close), the Hawks are still a one line team until further notice.

So I am not at all offended he makes such a prediction the Hawks flop. I can see why one would make that call, however, he ruins the few creative things he say by over bias and idiocy. If he could take his head out of his ass long enough to breath through his nose instead of taking the express lane past clown-ville he could have something insightful to offer.

Darnell Nurse, to be polite about it, has been disappointing to a Patrick Stefan level. As far as hype goes, he's a Matrix sequel multiplied by a Chris Gaines record.

This is pretty unfair. Nurse started last season in Bakersfield. I know because I watched him dominate the Gulls one night early in the season. He's going to be fine if he can get some decent coaching. But he's still young by defenseman standards with plenty of time to learn the game.

All I ask of James, is he give us his "Excuse" list when the Kings and Hawks BOTH easily make the top 8 in the West. I am sure he has some ready now. And also the one for the Oilers missing, which they will. Injuries? Bad luck? Whatever it is, it won't be Tanner admitting he has once again missed the boat....lol

James, other than not trading Yakupov I disagree with most everything else. You really do not know your nhl very well. Degrading Nurse was Pathetic and having Rundblad on the team, wow Not very entertaining today, sorry

It's far more likely that I'm just so far ahead of the curve. I'm glad it gives you a laugh, because believe me, me and my friends love to read and laugh at comments like this just as much. The only difference is that I don't base my thoughts on group think and use actual data to develop what I think and back it up.
