I agree with an Eichel-like season. I just hope the TOR media machine and fans give this kid some time. Watching Eichel last year, there were times he looked absolutely dominant, and other times where he looked like an 18yo.

I'm expecting a more modest season. Roughly 16 goals and 22 assists. Two major reasons are a lack of higher end talent around him but also that Babcock eases youth into the league and isn't likely to give him the minutes alot of other rookies get in their rookie seasons. I expet his rookie season to mirror Seguin rather than Stamkos.

I love how everyone says Mathews is better then eichel but no one thinks he will have a better point total then him. Most people think he will have less points and dont think he will even break 50.
