One guy I expect to maybe see soon is Abols. He is a big 6'5 aggressive checker. He is not a fighter but he attacks. He had a good outing last year but had to go back. I would not be surprised to see him overtake Gaunce.

As far as Lucic and Kassian , Canucks should be able to answer them with Guddy Pedan Dorsett.

Big 'if' to see Pedan in the lineup. If we get past Lucic/Kassian then you have Maroon/Hendriks/Nurse to deal with and those guys are pretty tough too.

Canucks still need another tough guy. I think Carol put out a stat early last year that every game that Prust fought in we won. That was about two months in.

Dorsett is a lightweight and it is stupid to expect him to do it alone. Yes we have Gudbrandson but he can't have 82 fights either.

I liked last year in the California trip when they tried to get tough and Pedan ( playing forward ) stepped up. We won all three games.

Canucks are a much better team when they are not being manhandled.

Prust and Dorsett were fighting way too much imo. It was getting a little excessive. I am an advocate of fighting and think it has its place in the game but it doesn't need to be every game or 3 times a game. It was becoming a spectacle.

Playing tough is another thing all together you can play tough and not have to fight if you have guys like Gudbransen\Pedan\Trymakin combine them with a couple big shutdown forwards and you have a tough team to play against. Gritt for the corners paired with guys who can chase pucks and play tight hockey.

Lucic, Kassian will give them fit's this season. Book it.

But the team does need that tough factor on the forward lines, and Dorsett is a light weight punching above his weight class.

Well if we get a full year of facial expressions it will mean we are a winning club. I don't see WD making it past 25 games if we are a losing club.

From what I saw in Trymakin's debut games he's massive, has the skill to play at the NHL level has a mean streak(which I love). Only real knock I had was his level of conditioning but I think if he had a good off season program and comes to camp in the best shape he will be a lock. Also when youre that big your lungs have to supply a lot of oxygen to a massive amount of muscle.
