Duly noted, and again Mr. Buffet, I agree on all aspects of your post, I can vividly remember watching him have brain farts on Several occasions. But to read the comments tonight was like stepping back in time and reading the biased thoughts from game 7. Team sport, team meltdown, inept coaching, brain fart goalie, soft team approach, no truculence, no SC.

It was like the entire organization didn't realize that the whistles get put away during the SCF, and that even if things were called as usual, the PP had gone completely to shlt.

In retrospect it's kind of funny, but the Canuck's trip to the Stanley Cup final was a lot like Ryan Lochte's Rio Olympic experience.

Thx Carol and all the others for the tips on Vegas!

Blasio water fountain display is always an attraction for people.

Was there in the summer. 40c plus daily. Don't buy the t-shirts they shrink and the design comes off... Unless they are gifts. Then buy away, Lols.

Totally agree Mr. Cuban, my observation is that this fan base has only blamed Luongo for game seven when there were several contributing factors that cumulated in the demise of the desired outcome....starting with turn the other cheek in the playoffs.

I certainly don't begrudge the fans their outrage at the outcome but I do take issue with the tunnel vision blame on one single individual when it's a team sport. If no one is preventing the opposition from taking free shots at players or goalies you blame the team, not the individual.
But as you pointed out, he doesn't deserve ring of honour status, but he also doesn't deserve being the scapegoat of that series.

- Makita

That pos A/V is responsible for that turn the other cheek business. They should have taken liberties with Bergeron, kreji, rat 🐀 face, and anyone else they could get their hands on. Should have kept ripper on the black aces and had him ride shot gun with the Sedins in the final.

How's that, did they get drunk and harass a gas station attendant, break stuff, lie about it to the police, etc...?

I blame him for every game in Boston and all game Sixes in Chicago. Lu does not do game sixes well.

I remember reading somewhere that if a player does go on to LTIR and remains permanently injured, then the team can go to arbitration or some form of litigation to get out of paying the recapture penalty. Or have it reduced and just pay it out. I'll try to find the article I read a while back.
- WhatTheNuck

The recapture penalty is a joke. The NHL approved the contracts then penalizes them?

They know it is something that would not stand up in court and that is why no one has paid one yet.

I blame A/V for not pulling him. That POS said Luongo didn't want to be pulled so I'm not pulling him...

Luongo was an arrogant mook but A/V should have pulled him and acted like a coach instead of the guy holding the door... Luo should have been on a short leash. Two weak goals and your out

I stayed at the Belagio . Fantastic experience. Fresh cut flowers. TV in the mirror while on the crapper. The lobby, the fountain. I ordered room service and even the peanut butter was freshly made. The food is fantastic.

Best pool in Vegas goes to MGM. Bikinis everywhere and piña colades flowing.

Lou was part of the problem. Canucks never had playoff toughness. They got rag dolled and intimidated almost always . LA Chi Boston and recently Calgary made Canucks their b1tches. Gudbrandson , Pedan and Hopefully Tryamkin will address that. Not only them but the team needs to stand up for themselves. That is why I wanted change and even though Edler is our best Dman , I wouldn't be sad to say goodbye.

Personally I think the series ended for us when Horton was leveled. Boston woke up.

I agree. It woke them up and we lost the only guy hitting.

Canucks still need another tough guy. I think Carol put out a stat early last year that every game that Prust fought in we won. That was about two months in.

Dorsett is a lightweight and it is stupid to expect him to do it alone. Yes we have Gudbrandson but he can't have 82 fights either.

I liked last year in the California trip when they tried to get tough and Pedan ( playing forward ) stepped up. We won all three games.

Canucks are a much better team when they are not being manhandled.

One guy I expect to maybe see soon is Abols. He is a big 6'5 aggressive checker. He is not a fighter but he attacks. He had a good outing last year but had to go back. I would not be surprised to see him overtake Gaunce.

As far as Lucic and Kassian , Canucks should be able to answer them with Guddy Pedan Dorsett.

Well if we get a full year of facial expressions it will mean we are a winning club. I don't see WD making it past 25 games if we are a losing club.
