I hate to say it but Sbisa gets to much hate. He is needed in the line up. People need to get over the analytic side of things and look at what he brings to the game.

I wouldn't call it hate. One of few poor moves JB did thus far was offering a crazy contract. He's 5-6 d-man on most teams and the Canucks currently have a plenty. That said I think he may have teams interested in his physical attributes. Tryamkin and Pedan are more than capable of filling in his shoes at a much lower cost.

I agree....its like I always say, actually watch hockey games as opposed to looking at the stat sheet post game and thinking they know what happened through that info. It does not tell the whole story. How many games is there a hit that changes the game?? Often, yet the stat page simple shows that hit as equal with all the others

Many of those stat sheets are fecked up. Especially for the road team, maybe it evens out over the course of a season but sometimes it is like you watched a different game than what you see on the sheet...

watching the ti-cats and stamps. owens incomplete in end zone as he jumps for ball out of bounds.....wtf is there pavement a couple yards outside the end zone???

exactly. Stats dont cover you being a road team and the home team getting last matchup. Nor do they cover a guy constantly cheating on faceoffs and it not being called.
Or crappy / biased reffing.

they declined in lineup yes but coaching staff is very strong now with the changes this off season. They'll have better utilization of getzlav and perry and of course defensively
