Kessel put up those big points with JVR on his line. He's shown that he plays better without a great centre (Bozak and Bonino vs. Crosby and Malkin).
Who has Patchy Patch played with that's so much to his advantage?
(frank), why are you making me post in support of that bumhole? - 1979AD
While Galchenyuk is not a superstar in my estimation - he is light years better than Bozak - wouldn't you agree?
Not supporting Kessel, not a fan, but the truth is he is a better player and more talented than Patchy Patch - regardless of whether he eats hot dogs or comes to camp overweight or all that other garbage.
I have friends who go to a Predators game every year. They say it is - by far - the best place to watch a hockey game. - Atomic Wedgie
I can imagine that it would be a good time.
I will say that Dallas is the best place I've been to - great city, awesome fans and the arena is fantastic. Didn't hurt that we had platinum seats so had beer and wings brought right to the seat for us

Galchenyuk's better than Bozak now and will continue to get better until he's eventually light years better. But, before last year? I'm not so sure.
Anyway, I agree that Philip should be on that roster.

I have a hard time telling if you're actually this dumb or you just enjoy saying inflammatory things because you have a deep hole in your personality. - BINGO!
I proudly hold an irrational hate for hossa and anything sens that will never die.

This is something I am not sure about. As much as I love wings, wouldn't that be inconvenient in a stadium seat? Not as bad as a steak, but I feel like this would unsettle me.

I personally get sloppy at Hockey games to begin with. Wings are fine for me as long as I'm not wearing a 200$ jersey

I would have, yeah, but he's not the player he one was and it was hurting the team.
Maybe he can come back some day, but a couple years from now so that the core can take firmly over the leadership without him being a distraction.
I have no doubt that he'll be back someday in some capacity. - BINGO!
I get it.
I felt the same way about Koivu back when he left.
I'm a sucker for these things though because sometimes the "right" move is to trade the player because of how it helps the team move forward but at the same time you don't want to see the player play for anyone else.
I feel that way about Markov right now for the Habs.

It sucks to watch a star carry a crappy team for years and then fall apart as the team is nearing the cusp of being good. It is what it is and #12 probably hangs in the rafters some day.

Here's my list of places I've been:
Toronto (of course): No better place to watch a playoff game. The battles against Ottawa were franking epic
Montreal: great city to spend a weekend. Love that the arena is in the heart of it all
Ottawa: too franking far out. Sorry.
Buffalo: great fans. Seriously. Great time every time I go
Detroit: Meh. Mind you, I haven't been in over a decade, but there was nothing to do before or after. We went to a lame bar in Greektown.
Chicago: great city, but the arena itself was a let down.
San Jose: good times.
Vancouver: great city. Arena was just like every other arena (including the ACC).
New York Rangers: had real fun at this one - it was a Rangers/Philly game. Great location.
New York Islanders (Brooklyn): Thought I would hate it, or more accurately I wanted to hate it just to be a smug Leafs bastard. But it wasn't so bad. Great location - easy to take a train there.
New Jersey: never again.
Philly: location wasn't great, but on the subway line. Fans were fine.
Florida: Oh frank, what a horrible location. In the middle of no where. If you are wondering why this franchise will always be borderline bankrupt, look no further than the arena.
Tampa Bay: probably my favourite. Drinks in Ybor City, then took the antique trolley to the arena. Drank in the outdoor bar at the arena. As part of a week of golfing and swimming at the beach. Would love to go back.
Boston: it's Boston! Great place to see a game. Great group of bars around Canal Street after the game. Arena itself is meh. Let's face it - all the new arenas are meh.

I found the Saddledome to be so small... Rexall is weird, but i like those older buildings.. Ottawa is boring, MTL i hate that place..

Edmonton: Old arena is a piece of poop.
Calgary: Slightly less of a piece of poop than Edmonton, but the Saddledome has not aged well. Better location though. And fans.
Vancouver: Not bad. Easy to get to. Not much atmosphere
Pittsburgh: Easily the best experience I've had at a game. Fans were loud the entire time, new arena was solid and easy to get in and out of... whole thing was top notch.

I've had a lot to cheer about lately.
....Also, "Potash Fertilizers"? Try a little harder, at least. - BINGO!
I guess you have been drunk for 10 years or so then. My recollection is that Carolina is in deep financial poop and have not made the playoffs for 8 years. They owe the league money and are next in line to be moved.
I agree the name needs work - Saskatoon Wheat Wackers?
Anyway: for all your Leaf Criticism - They have supported welfare teams like the Carolina Hurricanes for years, now is our time to add to the FOURTEEN CUPS
