My friend wouldnt talk to me for a month.. Then at the start of last year when they started off well i said he'd get hurt again.. and he did..

I would agree with you - but we are talking about Columbus here - a pretty bad team, with cap issues, talent issues, attendance issues - might act slightly more desperate than other teams.

Perhaps, but I have yet to see a prospect report implying Dubois would be NHL ready already. Hell even Dubois himself said in an interview last spring that he'd probably be back in junior for one more year.

It makes sense that Dobber doesn't include him as a prospect that will probably have an impact this year since the odds are he won't be in the NHL.

I'm with Symba on this issue - even joking about it is not for me. A long time ago when I was at a hockey game with my dad - I saw the Leafs being humiliated by the Bruins. A player named Bobby Orr was booed every time he touched (rather controlled) the puck. I couldn't understand then why people would boo the best player on the planet. Realized not much later the difference between a Leaf fan, a Habs fan and a hockey fan. If the Leafs beat a team - I want them to beat their best. I also hated when Kypreos injured Fuhr - accidentally on purpose.

You are probably right, just the same very few teams suck on as many levels as Columbus - so the temptation may be too much for them.

At the time I wanted Hanifin over Marner.


I'm happy as hell with Marner, but still think that Hanifin would give our prospect pool more balance. You guys have one hell of a player on your hands
