His deployment stats of zone starts is pretty much on par with Brassard, who most know was primarily deployed for offensive production as well. Except Pirri has racked up a grand total of 21 5v5 assists in the NHL over 166 games.

An AVERAGE passer getting that kind of deployment should have no problem cracking 30 assists in 160+ games

I like the signing, low risk for a guy who can put puck in the net, not a very good playmaker, not really good defensively but I don't think the Rangers signed him for those reasons.
