Skjei would be a long shot, just for the fact he is a defenseman, and after last years overall crappy defense, I think he will be really concentrating on his defensive side of the game.

out of all of them I think Vesey is the biggest longshot

Jacob Slavin was 10th in Calder voting last season

that made him "in the conversation"

this isn't rocket science

Have no expectations of either Vesey or Buch. If they both make the team and help out significantly I will be ecstatic. Might even have jimbo order me a double headed Vesey/Buch fleshlight.

Did you mean automated teller machine, at the moment, or ass to mouth?

Yeah I'd love Hall too, mostly because he was the only winger available to be traded ever in the history of the NHL, apparently.

by your logic, every rookie is in the conversation for the calder. i think cousins, laughton, provorov, konecny, sanheim, morin, and aube-kuebal are all gonna be in the conversation for the calder. am i doing this right?

Provorov will be. Vesey is considered the 8th best prospect in the world, so he will likely be too. Buchnevich is considered the 21st best in the world, so he has a Janice. Sanheim is the only other guy you listed that can also stand a chance. Maaaaaybe Konecny.

I'm with you on this, by the way. Slavin was definitely in the conversation. I don't think there was any chance he was going to win, but he was worth talking about.

I know what you're saying.
