Are the Portland Pirates still affiliated with the Coyotes?
My bad Arizona is affiliated with Springfield Falcons. Why can't Arizona play him there? |

Tuscon Roadrunners and Crouse is not eligible for the AHL because of the NHL/CHL transfer agreement. |

Did Crouse not play 2 games for Portland last year? Was there a loophole Florida could exploit? |

I believe you can play on a PTO when your jr season ends and still be junior eligible the following year/not AHL eligible. Isles had Parker Wotherspoon play for BPT and he will be back in Tri-City next year. |

What have I said every goddamn time this comes up? let me copy and paste it again for you:
“IF ANOTHER MOVE IS NOT MADE, I’LL BE JUMPING ON THE RIOT TRAIN WITH YOU”
I never once have said there is another trade coming, I said I don’t think he’s done, but the statement above (which has been posted EVERY.GODDAMN.TIME.) conveniently is forgotten when you post
Stop twisting my words to suit your own negative bs.

Two months of the same sh!t every second or third day... At this point if snow does make a trade I'm going to ride him into the ground. |

This is a market setting deal. Teams aren't going to take your bad contract for no reason. You have to give a team a reason to move crap - Dan Petriw
http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/player-bio/josh-bailey
Here's the sad thing about Josh...he's never learned to shoot more. His best season, points-wise & SOG was 2014-15. 41 pts (15g/21a) on 140 shots in 70GP. If he could get up around 200+ shots, he's likely a 20-goal scorer, which is not trash and should be of value to SOME team, especially at $3.3M/yr.
I personally believe he is one of the main players that Roloson & Wiz was calling out as one of the Country Club boys, which, blame-wise, really falls back on Cappy & coaches for not holding him more accountable.
If I were Garth, I would aggressively try and move him and I don't think we would have to give up a 1st Rd pick to do so. We have an excess of Goalies, currently, with more in the pipeline showing real promise. It's also not a good idea to hope that Vegas chooses him in the expansion draft. That, or tell him to get his shot attempts up or he will be commuting to Port Washington & to the Ferry the B'port instead of Bklyn. |

Yea nobody will take him and if they do it is a win win. Cause if not then he stays in teh minor. I mean it is quite simple but the Islanders probably feel they have to justify the contract, no matter how bad he is - kasperrko
If there was ever a time Garth could explain to the Owners, "Hey, we're gonna eat this salary if he clears waivers because we have prospects banging on the door", it's now.
But then again, there's also the fear in Garth that if JB landed on another team and suddenly had a Coach on his arse and scored 50-60 pts in a season, it would shine the light on our inferior coaching & up the line to Snow.
I think I just answered my own question and supported the rationale as to why he will be playing on the club again, this year. |

The trade we should have made did not happen.
The article in the link kinda makes that sting just a bit more. I think Hall is going to have a very good season. He's a little pissed and has something to prove. He would have been a very nice addition, despite having to have traded Hamonic in order to make it happen. |

I think (and this doesn't mean I agree with it) that snow figures the team can go further with a better top 4d than they can with 3d and a top line winger. I love watching hamonic play and I'm not bitter the trade wasn't made, but considering pelech and pulock both look nhl ready I think we could have made that deal and really helped kick our offense up a gear. I think without that trade we still have a big hole in the top 6f, especially if Nelson and strome are 2c and 3c. Right now that means Bailey or prince is our 2nd line rw, and that's not good enough. I don't think the team is worse off (losing 51 hurts, but 6 replaces strait/zidlicky) but we need another add to be a contender. Expecting barzal to be that add (at wing, or pushing strome or Nelson to wing) is a pretty big risk in a year with set expectations. |

The fact that we're STILLLLL talking about Bailey and STILLLL waiting for him to mature is laughable. The guys not on the level, and to be honest, for the few times a season he makes a great play its not worth it. The bailey situation is a microcosm of whats wrong with Snow.

Hall is awesome and everything, but I have less-than-zero issues with not trading Hamonic for him. You're plugging a hole by creating another, and that hole is a lot harder to find a suitable replacement for. I was fine trading Hamonic for him when he was still requesting to be traded, but I firmly believe keeping him was the right move. |

It works both ways though. Yes Hamonic is special, and yes his cap hit is low. But, with Pulock and Pelech coming up, you're not replacing Hamonic, but you have guys who can play special team minutes. So yes, you'd have been losing Hamonic, but Hall playing with Tavares would have been as good if not better than any 1-2 punch in the league, and his minutes would have been eaten up by Pulock/Pelech. |

couldn't agree more...would have hated to lose Hamonic but I think I adjusted to the idea...to have gotten Hall to play with JT would have been huge..its the kind of player we still need to acquire. |
