They removed 60 pt Hudler and put in MCCann and his 12 points.

Jagr one year will slow down , ok maybe not.

- VANTEL

Hudler had 11 points for them ...

You would think jagr has to eventually

As long as they are relying on Lou to be 'their guy' FLA is in trouble.

It's like us relying on Miller...not gonna work.

And yes losing Guddy, Mitchell and Hudler is huge.

Adding yandle and demers help tho

Since you picked all east teams except one ...and this would mean a team in the bottom ten in the league will make the playoffs ....I'm going to say this will never happen ...ill give you a redo

- Redmile247

Please go easy on Vantel. Maths was never his strong suit.

Bloody good job for him, he still has his looks.

Fla just opened up like 5.5mil in cap space to likely acquire someone else in a trade(otherwise why dump Crouse to free up space, kid will be a solid top6). I doubt they are a bottom feeding team.
- Retinalz

Crouse will never be an effective NHL'er. He had bust written all over him. Even before he was drafted.

I tend to agree although he could become a decent bottom 6. Some on here appeared to by high on him and I didn't understand why. I am sure I am in the minority but I think Florida won this trade. They gave up a B prospect and an absolute anchor of a contract for a couple of high picks. Well done.

Edit. I just checked, Bolland has 3 more years at $5.5MM...lot of cash for 7 goals No salary retained. Arizona should have received a second round pick for taking on the salary. So, another way of analyzing the trade is Florida received 2 seconds and a 3rd for Crouse.

Agreed. I remember lots of Leafs fans wanted to trade down a few spots to grab him. I think he a typical "draft for size and ignore skill" type player. Like Tyler Biggs (only better). Hindsight is easy but they left Connor, Boeser, Konecny and Barzal on the table for a guy you can pick up fairly cheaply as a UFA (if you're one of the better teams)

Yes, he seemed to receive some hype after a decent world juniors but he never impressed me after. I guarantee he has a great corsi or the kid GM wouldn't have traded for him. I still find it hilarious that they have a 27 year old GM.

Crouse is pretty old ....
- Redmile247

Those draft picks are currently 17 and 16 years old... Crouse is 19, bad trade!

But obviously he has something that attracted the scouts. A franchise that puts faith in their development system is not a bad thing. Youth with size is an attractive foundation to build on.

damn.

I don't have a twitter account, was just looking at the Canucks Twitter. Players working out and getting ready for the season. Bo is in there. I liked the garage flooring in the first pic where someone is practicing their stick handling, very slick.

two 2nds and a 3rd. You can't ignore Bolland's albatross contract. Florida would have had to include a 2nd to dump the contract on a stand alone basis. Steep price for a B level prospect.
