Zibanejad >>>> Brassard

Spezza >>>> Chiasson

Bishop >>> Conacher

Chara >>>> Redden

Ritchie (will be) >>>> Slobby Ryan

I feel like Im missing some

oh, and chara wasn't traded for redden.....he left as a free agent. if you want to criticize you should probably learn your facts......and try using some facts that aren't a decade old. by that logic, in my post about habs mis-steps i probably should have included the Roy trade

to be fair, it was spezza for chiasson, nick paul (who was the best piece in that deal) and a pick

and rundblad was also traded for a pick, not for tarasenko. murray would never have drafted him so it's a completely pointless argument.

and Spezza wanted a change.....but I still don't get the Bishop trade, always thought he could have gotten a lot better return.

Is getting rid of Desharnais considered a bold move?

at the time of the deal it seemed like a great return......i don't think anyone thought conacher would keep up the pace he set with stamkos, but i don't think anyone thought he'd fall off as much as he did. i know a lot of tampa fans were pissed when that deal went down.

as for spezza.......it wasn't the best return but he's a 33 year old, 60 point player, who's numbers are declining (or i guess staying the same, but considering how sheltered he is in dallas behind seguin it's basically the same), who has serious back issues, and who makes 7.5 mil until he's 36 or 37.

I know it was a draft pick..its just fun to look back now and see how that trade tree has moved around.

Teams that have traded for rundblad always got screwed over

He has been traded for a pick that turned out to be Tarasneko
For Turris
For a pick that turned out to be Christian Dvorak

Half of this blog is you trying to sell us on your "sources". Do any of these sources speak in full sentences or provide actual information in general?

Hoffman was a late bloomer.....completely irrelevant in this conversation.

by that token we should compare a 22 year old lars eller to a 22 year old martin st. Louis...............bet you eller had better numbers at that age.

Weird. It is like admitting your own team doesn't have a no.1 center.

pretty much every sens fan has said for the last 2-3 years that we need a legit top line guy........turris has the potential to be a 30 goal 70pt guy when healthy, but he hasn't gotten there yet.......same as galchenyuk.

that they can trade for...........a top 4 dman, a true #1 center (plekanec is past his prime and galchenyuk isn't there yet), a top six winger (pacioretty and I guess Gallagher are the only true top six wingers.....radulov is a wild card and shaw is likely better suited to a 3rd line role)

what they need that they can't trade for........a competent GM and a quality head coach

- sensarmy_11

Galchenyuk is the no.1 center.

The only wild card element about Radulov is if he is a top 3 or top 6. Don't worry about it.

I will agree about the top 4 Dman. But if you consider Ceci as a top 4 Dman, i don't know why Beaulieu couldn't fill this spot next season. we will have to wait and see.

What kind of chart do you prefer?

zzzzzzzzzz

None of your 3 best forwards has ever scored 30 goals. And they are 24, 26 and 27 years old.

But they are all better than our 22 years old player who already did.

Get real sens fans. Galchenyuk is a no.1 center. And better than any center your franchise ever dressed.

I like that word when talking about a 27 years old player. He needs to speed up the process because as you've heard alot after the Weber-Subban trade, 31 years old is old as poop.

As for Galchenyuk, he did reach 30 goals and at 22 years old, you still can talk about potential.

so bitter.....

so unable to take any criticism about your team......

besides, keep reading my posts....I said that the habs have a perfect roster. there are absolutely no weaknesses on your team. I wish my team had a roster as complete and incredible as montreal. I mean they're so awesome that the loss of one single player could never completely de-rail their season and turn them into one of the worst teams in the entire league.
