Not specifically, but his stock rises as more teams realize they want one more NHL level forward, regardless of age. Happens every year before preseason

I'm almost certain hurdler isn't waiting on what Elias does.

Though if we made that trade with Chicago someone proposed earlier I would be willing to sign hurdler.

I should have added more context, last week on Sirius Boomer mentioned that Elias spent some time with Hudler and that they were talking about Elias's progress. I think it was Morreale(?) who mentioned the possibility.

If I am reading the chart correctly...I think it was a mistake to not pick Provorov

I agree. I think he's going to be very good and we picked before you in last years draft so he was there for the taking.

Hoping a team with salary cap issues is forced to dump a dman to get under the cap. But that's a long shot at best

The Devils also signed Gormley who is supposed to have offensive upside; but I think he's really a gamble to see if he can do anything.

Anyway, if our D can play decent D, I'll be thrilled. I'm not worried about the offensive side.

Super pumped for this season ! Even if we start and finish this year with this roster we will still have so much room to improve next season ( Like shore up our D with more then support players like lovejoy). We are also looking to be a even faster team then last year ! Let's Go Devils !!!!! Can't wait for the Buffalo prospects tournament
