I'd take 15 goals and 15-20 assists. Might see Buch drop to the 2nd line and maybe Miller or Kreider on the 3rd. (2 rookies with Hayes could be trouble). Maybe get crazy and drop Nash to the 3rd line.

Vesey is a gift from the hockey gods so all he has to do is prove he belongs in this league. Whatever the production is doesn't matter. I thought the kid was going to be legit before he signed and picking the Rangers doesn't change that. Just makes me think less of Harvard educations... But it seem stupid to try and guess what Vesey's production is going to be. The question is can he fit and play in this league and contribute to the Rangers team. And probably he can.
Reid Boucher put up more points for the Sarina Sting than Steve Stamkos and has struggled to establish himself on a Devil's team starved for offense. Patrick Elias wasn't projected to be a goal scorer when they drafted him and didn't do too bad... You never know what you've got til it's on the ice and gets a chance to play. |
