it seems as though they definitely waited until the Vesey thing was over to sign Enroth....Enroth to the Leafs was talked about weeks ago.

So since they did wait and only have 3 spots, it makes me think they had 4 moves on the to do list which could only be:

1. Vesey

2. Back up goalie

3. Marner taking one contract spot. (OHL doesn't count against the 50 so they must be leaning to the fact that he will make the team.)

4. #2D


So do they finish up #4 before the season starts?

The way they waited on Vesey/Enroth makes me think they already have a plan for #2D move and that one contract spot is very important obviously.

Yeah he's definitly a work in progress. But guys like that take time to get where they need to be. I don't think he'll be a superstar or anything. But with his size and offensive skill set he could be an upgrade over Marincin

Marner Matthews Nylander.. Thats who we are hoping for. And maybe Brown..

And you can't unequivocally say that they are going to be bad so we should just accept it. Stranger things have happened and they have a lot of new personnel this season
