I got an idea....let's let Vesey play some regular season games before we label him anything - TPC
And where is the fun in that? |

He's one of the last of that real old generation of comedians who rose to prominence just as TV was (frank)ing becoming a "thing". |

Of all the all time comedians I could still listen to he's up there with of course George Carlin, Check him out too if you never heard of him. |

Echo Brian's
Saw him at Ryder college in 1990. What a wordsmith. If you are of the younger generation and grew up with the Thomas the Tank Engine, you might recognize his voice. Drove me nuts when my nephew was watching it until I figured out it was old George!
Jonathan Winters anyone? |

I noticed that Zuccarello turns 29 years old in a week.
3 years left on his deal with great cap hit.
Is he next?
Very tradeable, fanbase would lose it's minds.
But, lotsa forwards here. |

I could see it if we were getting back a young defenseman with upside but I doubt it. With how hot and cold guys like Kreider, Nash, Miller, and Hayes were last year, it's nice having the depth we have up front now and Zucc is more or less our most consistent forward.
But again if you're bringing back a Vatenen or something like that then I could see Zucc being a centerpiece in a deal like that |

Quite the team Nill is building over there. If that defense and goaltending come together, look out. |

just like Brassard, I don't think Zuccarello's trade value will ever be higher though

I doubt they do something like that before Vesey and Buchnevich has proved they can play in the NHL... But he's obviously very tradeable |

Depending on the return I could be on board. A Barrie, Vatanen, etc. would be nice. We're still trying to win now though too so trading our most important forward will be a risk no matter who we get back. Losing Zucc even if we get a quality return would hurt more than losing Hags and that hurt a lot.
What do you do if St. Louis offers you Shattenkirk for Zucc straight up? |

Not sure what kinda return you would get but I'd rather package Klein and Fast or Lindberg. |

I think you would have to be blown away with an offer to move Zucc...just don't see that happening |

I'm not trading for Shat, period. Especially not Zucc. Obviously St Louis will try to get something for him before he walks after this season if they are in bad shape at the deadline. Rather try to sign him during the off season. |

yeah, I am not really advocating trading Zuccarello, just speculating that he could be the next one just reading how this team seems to be operating now
Yeah, I'd rather trade Fast and Lindberg too, but those guys are a dime a dozen and have the trade value of zilch |
