They're not tied to him, so who cares?

Fills a couple holes during camp. Couple guys are going to miss much of camp with the World Cup and there are rules as to how many vets/1st rounders you need in the lineup. He'll provide some muscle during the preseason games.

It's a longshot that they actually end up signing him.

Yeah i know.

i dont care.. just a little perplexed..

It doesn't count if you don't do it barefoot following an old "hockey sage" talking about how he saw Maurice Richard knock out that goon from Boston once. WITH JUST ONE PUNCH!

Can we just all agree that if Hrabarenka makes the team, we nickname him Noodles?

- Scabeh

I still can't believe he got away with that.

On a side note though, even though he did that to your team, it's still epically awesome. Imagine for a second, if you will, the tables were turned. You'd love it

I thought he was fined or something?

But yeah, one of these epic moments from Bruins/Habs series.... nothing beats that rivalry for me man.

I don't even know if he was fined to be honest. I'll look into it.

Totally agree. I was at that 8-6 game with the like 200 pim and goalie "fight"

Edit: $2,500 - worth every god damn penny

Alfredsson pretending to throw his stick was the funniest thing in the entire history of hockey.

That Sabre pretending to golf was also pretty good.

Thomas is a fighter but he's lucky Price didn't really want to fight him imo.

It still baffles me how Americans can be so offended by that hand gesture.

FFS, it's somebody raising their middle finger - what's the big deal?

Sundin was fined and suspended one game for throwing his stick in the stands in 2004.

Shortly thereafter, Alfie broke his stick, and pretended to whip it into the stands before setting it down gently (with a smirk).

I'll see if I can find a video.

Funniest franking thing evah!

that would be why I don't remember. I didn't really start watching other teams etc until a few years after that.

I didnt think id be excited about the WCH but i kinda am now.

Maybe its because 2 and a half months of no hockey is harder to take than id like to admit.. But i really think seeing Matthews playing alongside some of the other great young talent is going to be a treat. I hope he becomes one of the main go to guys on the team. It could really change how the hockey minds see the game if the N.A. team succeeds.
