I didnt think he was that good for the Habs...

For the first 2 years, he was an excellent addition to our team.
He was fast enough to give out good body checks, gave alot of energy to our team and was able to defend teamates which made him really popular.
Hell he'd even chip in some goals here and there. I loved him.
Injuries have slowed him down considerably though and Bergevin traded him at the right time (even is the Kassian experiement obviously failed).
He had trouble making the Canucks roster on a regular basis last year.... at best he'll be a decent 13th forward for the Leafs. He was a pretty good guy to have around when you bring up young players. |

They're not tied to him, so who cares?
Fills a couple holes during camp. Couple guys are going to miss much of camp with the World Cup and there are rules as to how many vets/1st rounders you need in the lineup. He'll provide some muscle during the preseason games.
It's a longshot that they actually end up signing him. |
