I think it's Cali 1-3 as you said, and the rest you could essentially put their names into a hat and pick them out. If there's any surprise team it'll be Calgary - lots of good youth and they finally have a solid G, plus Russell is addition by subtraction. They'll probably be the next team to challenge the playoffs, but I don't think it'll be this year - the wildcard will likely end up being both Central teams.

Actually Arizona roster is not that bad. They could be a solid 7-8 team at worst. Mix of young talent and decent vets. Could even argue they are a season ahead of the Leafs as far as a rebuild goes.

I do not think it is a 'lock'. But somewhere in 30 to 25 is where I would place them.

There are a significant number of Leaf fans in BC which leads to some resentment. Unfortunately for Vancouver, they seem to be headed in the wrong direction. Between questionable ownership, a GM that is among the worst in the NHL, and a club President that has little or no management/front office experience - it's unlikely they will be a good team any time soon.

Marner on the team plays 1 game a week to get to 9 games. Sent down on a conditioning stint to the AHL. Lent to the WJC. Plays with the Leafs from January on avoiding going back to the Knights.
