He's got decent enough numbers, has improved significantly since getting in proper shape, and has actually player more than 50 games in a season before.

(Don't get me wrong, I'd have preferred Gibson, but still.... Mr. NotBernier is a big improvement )

I was okay with the move to get him but I honestly was kinda disappointed with the deal right after for 5 years. I don't think he's proven yet really but I do have high hopes for him and can see him being a good goalie for the Leafs but I just don't think he's a sure thing. He better be tho..

Yeah, the deal wasn't perfect... I'm okay with the cost, but I'd have preferred a 2 or 3 year term...

Great move by Lou. Enroth is a excellent move. Back up goalie is sort of the least important position until it becomes the most important position.

Plus with a small goalie in net you get to see actual old fashioned goaltending instead of the giant guys just acting as a human blocker!

if big injury, can't have one of those kids going in for 35/40 games...Enroth is a nice safety cushion
