Well Nashville had a stronger supporting cast and a much better coach. I think he is pretty much set up for failure in MTL.

They also had Holland ranked in the top 10 instead of the bottom 5.

Plus it gives us a potential low risk/high reward player without really depleting our defense too badly.

Only reason for a delay I can think of would be if the Canes want to make sure that Fleury or McKeown is ready for the NHL before they pull the trigger.
