Just feel like he's a bit ahead of where Morin was at the same age.
- Tomahawk

Better 4-way skater, better shot and shoots more, absolutely more raw offensive ability without slacking in the DZ/NZ, potentially higher ceiling.

And we don't talk enough about just how good Lindblom's past season was... putting up fantastic numbers in two pro leagues as a late-birthday.

True dat. Kid is going to surprise when he finds his way onto the Flyers. Perfect glue linemate for someone skilled like Konecny or Laberge or even G.

We were driving home late from a tourney in North Jersey and there were people watching porn in the back of a mini van.

That was unique.

Another story.

I was heading through a 35, and speed up to 45 or so to hit a yellow light on a Y. I make it, bear right at the Y intersection. This leads me down a hill, and then up it again where it evens out to a 45. Down and up the hill is still a 35. All within 1000 feet.

I coast down to the valley of the hill. Foot isn't even on the gas. At this point I'm going 50, planned on coasting up the hill to level out to around ~45. Would have been perfect.

Cop at the valley of the hill. Hello $230.

Sure I was going too fast according to the speed limit. But was I REALLY "deserving" of a ticket. Come the (frank) on bro.

That's the bullpoop that needs to stop.

- Giroux_Is_God

It seems like a set up for a money grab. I was a shuttle driver, shuttling customers from an Audi dealership I worked for. One day after driving straight for awhile on a 50, I came to an intersection where I was dropping off a customer in his place of business right on the corner. I dropped this customer off through the front entrance and left through the back. In doing so I missed the sign saying that the speed limit dropped from 50 to 25. It was a heavy business oriented area, so I understand the need for a speed change but the speed limit is an easy miss.

Yeah, his puck-handling, shot-faking and line-walking are ridic, too.

Sam Morin isn't a bad prospect by any measure, but I've never seen him do the kind of stuff that Myers routinely does.

What I like about Phillip Myers from a Flyers development standpoint, it's looking like he has all the time in the world develop with so many solid defensive prospects ahead of him. We're far from a bad situation but I can't help but feel the Flyers are going to have some tough situations to make interms of transitsition. Claude Giroux is 9 year older than a kid like Myers and it's possible possible G might not be lighting the world on fire in 4 years from now at age 32.

Tailgating for a closer view, eh?

Either that or your eyesight is better than Ted Williams' in his prime.

I think that Giroux is going to be a a pretty consistent point producer for the rest of his career, maybe not 90 points a year but I think at 32 he's still producing 65-70. Especially as the talent level around him improves. The Flyers are going to be scary in five years.

How do we feel about any PTO? I'm not sure there's anyone out there worth it.

I think we've been pretty lucky that G has been as healthy a player as he has been. Sure he could produce but between injury and decline, the points are bound to drop off.

I'd give a PTO to someone like Pirri or maybe a Tyler Biggs.

I would have specific things I want. Youth. Maybe they have a skillset we are short on. Something that could be a benefit to the FLyers if they played well or could develop into more.

I wouldn't want a PTO on a veteran unless they are a young vet like 26-28 year old range.

I agree but I would make an exception for only specific cases. Have to meet certain things

Only for the wing that could fill the top 6 void after G, Jake, Simmer, Coots, and Schenn.

I also hate when there's a line of cars at a stoplight and people stop so close to each other that they have to wait for the car in front of them to move before they can move. Then you always get the person or two that aren't paying attention and ruin it for everyone.

C'mon self driving cars!
