You think Marner goes back to the O? It won't help him. That's like sending Vesey back to the NCAA and have him dominate, yet again, only as a 24 year old.
Seriously though, what other options are there for Marner? He's not going to learn a single thing in the O that he doesn't already kn-O. He'd learn more with just practising with the Leafs and watching half the games in the press box. - weirdoh
There are no other options. As a player who signed a CHL contract, he is prohibited from playing in Europe.
My daughter was a pretty good player back in her day and she once had a breakaway on an open net like this one. She promptly managed to hit the glass from about 5 ft away! Thankfully, she had scored the winning goal a couple of minutes earlier and added another one right after so they were up by a couple when it happened.

First day of a much needed holiday, and it's beautiful outside. Not sure what to do with the family - seems like an endless amount of options. - Woderwick
So obviously the best option is to stay at home, open a beer and forget your problems?

Marner on the team plays 1 game a week to get to 9 games. Sent down on a conditioning stint to the AHL. Lent to the WJC. Plays with the Leafs from January on avoiding going back to the Knights.
