Plus whatever additions they acquire. I still think Shanahan is going to continue the youth movement and try to grab prospects that fall out of favour with their team for whatever reason.

i really do think that there will only be 2 or 3 rookies (nylander and matthews being 2 of them) up front

if lupul is healthy they will need to play him, same with michalek, greening and laich in hopes to see them flipped at the deadline

WRT Kadri, I think that he's shown himself to be the best at handling the opposition's top line. and Komarov is a decent guy to go with him. Brown is also a decent guy to go with that pair. As for the top line, JvR is obviously there, and Marner would make a good set-up guy for Bozak, who has a surprisingly high shooting percentage - his lowest was this past year when he no longer had Phil to set him up.

Lot of ridiculous questions here. And incomplete answers , but realistically some of those questions would deserve a full blog to really get into it.

That one about signing prospects was absurd and completely ignores the fact that we have until AFTER the season. Mike nailed that one. Don't worry. We have tons of contract space. TONS.
