I give Murray a lot of credit he's made moves to better this team and some people like it and some don't. It's better then all the excuses we would get out of Darcy, no way he would have had the balls to do anything close to what Murray has done. Once again I know some will not agree with Murray but I do. - SABRES 89
I don't get posts like this. Time to move on from Regier dude. There is more than two GMs in the league. |

Do we go after hudler? He brings offense in the short term. |

I agree 89 and I like the fact that TM is willing to take chances, nothing wrong with that. Some trades won't work but at least he tries. It will be interesting to see what he does next. This roster isn't done. - mhp
I'm sure we will see something or, we might not. Can't just spend just to spend. |

Now that they have him signed, idk if they stil wanna trade him
Plus,
What do we give up?
Can't imagine they'd want something like Girgensons + or Ennis +
Maybe Fasching +?
But should we do something like that...
Or just go after Hudler/Pirri? |

Thank God this little punk signed. And I'm so glad it's with the Rangers! An aging defense, and an even older goalie. They have absolutely no chance to win a Cup with how the team is built. If they didn't do it with King Henry in his prime, they sure as hell won't do it now. They need to blow it up, and start over.
I can't wait for Vesey to get his pompous as# knocked around the ice! This kid is going to have such a huge target on his back. He better grow eyes in the back of his head. I know what he did was well within the rules and I don't claim to know him on a personal level... But whether it was he got bad advice on how to handle that entire situation from his Agents/father, or whatever. The fact is, it rubbed a lot of ppl and players the wrong way. Now the kid is playing on the biggest stage in hockey! Haha. He better produce right away, or he will be ran out of town by those ruthless NY fans! Wow, did this kid get some really bad advice!!! No matter what he does, score 50 points, or whatever, it will not be enough for the NY fans. They care about winning and that is it. As ruthless as they are, they are a - team comes before the player - type of city! And Vesey, if anything, has shown or at least given the impression he may be sort of selfish...
I can't wait until he goes to Buffalo/Toronto/Nashville/Pitts/CHI.... He is going to have one hell of a time. I'm not saying he deserves it or not. What I'm saying is, he is going to get booed everywhere he goes, and probably going to take a lot of cheap shots as well as clean shots. Good!!!!
All of that hype for a kid who never played a single game. A lot of writers and publications should be ashamed of themselves for all the erroneous and bullpoop** reports they put out... |

they could conceivably go into next season with the roster they have...the additions of okposo and kulikov make this team better...
plus some ifs:
if ennis can hit his career averages
if Girgensons can up his production
if McCabe can solidify his spot in the top four
if Lehner stays healthy
this team will be even better than that...95 points may be a stretch with this roster, but not that much - Michael Pachla
They could be done, other than signing Girgs and Risto certainly. I still think Murray had a fall back plan trade/signing if Vesey didn't pan out and we need one more d man for depth imo.

murray said all along that it's the kid's choice...they did what they could...
the best way to attract free agents like him or a stamkos is to have success...and i'm pretty sure murray understands that |
