Wow! Continuous source of entertainment, that one.
Ek needs to give him his own blog. Imagine the comment section, better than Tanner's.

So Vesey will most likely be in the top 9. Not sure he would have signed here not thinking he would be playing in the top 9. That makes the 4th line a huge puzzle.
Lindberg Jooris Fast Hrivik Glass Gerbe Grabner.
I think once Lindberg is healthy the 4th line should be
Grabner Lindberg Fast/Hrivik but who knows. Maybe a trade will happen to make some room but that's 7 guys for 3 spots. Fast Grabner and Lindberg could all play in the top 9 if needed due to an injury. And that's 7 guys without anyone else having a strong camp.

There is no doubt in my mind Josh Jooris will be a mainstay on either the 3rd or 4th line...bank on that

Seriously though, with the signings of Kreider, McIlrath, Miller, Hayes, the trade of Brass for Zibanejad. Now the Vessey pick up. He did one hell of a job when we were all worried about how he would even stay under the cap without trading one of the rfa's. Not only did he stay under and sign everyone, he picked up Vesey.

I don't see him in the top 9 at all. (However u want to juggle the top 9)
Nash Stepan Miller
Zucc MZ Buch
Keider Hayes Vesey

Ahead of Jooris in the depth chart IMO will be Grabner Fast Lindberg (when healthy). Not bad options to fill in temporarily when needed. But we have 7 guys, assuming no one else impresses at camp for 3 4th line spots.

The very fact that he did sign with the Rangers shows that this Kid is not as smart as some think he is. True i am Leafs Fan , but the rangers are a my top 3 teams but the rangers are only going down. The brightest future at the current time is Toronto, best coach, best management, best prospects and the dedication to making a A cup team. Im not sure what the logic was in this signing , my gut is telling me he isn't going to play up to the hype anyways. I do hope for the rangers fans this kid is as good as he thinks he is

Are you looking at the ages & contracts of Hank, Nash & Girardi & basing your opinion that we're on the decline on that? Because there's a significant opposite flip side to that coin. Talking about youth & upside on the already here (Kreider, Stepan, McDonough) & the real bright future like Skeij, Buchnevich, JT Miller, Vesey, McIlrath amongst others. The illusion that the Rangers are old & on the down turn is very much just that, an illusion.

Oilers, Panthers, Isles, Flames are all examples of how long a rebuild takes. This guy thinks the Leafs are destined to improve to a playoff spot within 2-3 years. It's gonna take 6 or 7 or 8 before they become a good team.
