I think he'll be a fine player, but going through some of the hype you'd think people were pegging him for a first line stud, maybe even a lower tier star. If he doesn't at least break 30 points his rookie season I can see him becoming a whipping boy very quickly. Some dumber fans may not be happy with him unless he's passed 50 with 20 goals.

I should remember this but was Neckar the guy on Ottawa in like 95/96 that Messeir almost put into a coma w a classic Mess elbow? And I don't mean the Modano incident, it was a guy on the Sens. Think he only got a game or 2 suspension.

2 things I remember about that pug was 1. He gave Lindros another concussion w a clean hit in a game I was at. 2. He fought Barnaby in a classic where Barnaby is laughing at him, shaking his head no for the linesmen to stop it & trash talking to another player while fighting Doig.
