The Hawks will only be elite for another season or 2(3 is pushing it).

All 3 of these things will happen at once, and all but end their dynasty(if you wanna call it that):

1. Hossa's retirement
2. The decline of Keith and Seabrook
3. The end of Hjalmarsson's ridiculously cheap contract

No matter what else happens they won't be able to recover from those 3 inevitable events.

I'm hoping they can squeeze out one more Cup before its over, most likely this upcoming season.
